D and Y Youth Apprenticeship Training Program is a New York based nonprofit organisation, whose mission is to educate and train youths and young adults to channel their talents to achieve immediate and lasting change.
D and Y Youth believes that developing a youth/young adult natural skills and talents will increase work readiness, job transition and improves long term life outcomes including self-sufficiency.

OUR APPROACH
Our Program includes:
36hrs of hands on training, which includes one on one guide in using the physical equiptments
We invite our neighborhood organisations to effectively engage youths/young adults by providing mentorship/volunteer work system
We introduce volunteers who are currently in the field to mentor our youths, show them how they can use their skills and talents in a more conducive way to reach adult self-sufficency, job readiness, economic and family stability.

D and Y Apprenticeship Training Program Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non profit, community based organization that was established in 2005 by Donald and Yvonne Hunter / Oneil D and Y Youth Program provides youth with career guidance and various creative and technical skills.
